Closed AMC theater site may be headed to self-storage use Hunter Stedman, November 1, 2024 The next phase for the closed AMC Classic Greensboro 18 facility in Greensboro appears to be as a self-storage facility. The theatre at 4822 Koger Blvd. was closed permanently in January 2023 as part of an AMC Theatre consolidation initiative. According to a Guilford County Register of Deeds filing Thursday, Koger Self Storage LLC paid $4.5 million for the 9.28-acre tract that contains 40,837 square feet of space and about 500 parking spaces. The buyer acquired the property from LeoTerra Koger of Kernersville. LeoTerra Koger bought the property for $3.73 million from Spirit Master Funding II LLC of Newton, Mass., on Dec. 4. Koger and LeoTerra Koger share the same 110-A Shields Park Road address as Leoterra Development Co. LeoTerra is a land development company serving the Southeast.
